At this point I’m confident that Establishment Democrat leaders are doing all this on purpose - losing, that is. They know that their own personal fortunes are safer under MAGA rule than under AOC, Mamdani, Sanders, etc.. Schumer et al. will continue to tank public opinion. On purpose. To lose.

I heard it on @vermontpublic.org this morning. Not a big media outlet, to be sure, but definitely a respected & reputable one!

But it takes a lot of work to have that openness and understanding (some might say wisdom). Not sure that our protagonist has that understanding, based on how I’ve written the character, though. [end]

All that aside, if someone is open-minded, they would have historical evidence of their own opinions & beliefs that they’ve changed over time. So yes, I think it’s possible (free will aside) that someone could see a potential belief that is opposed to their current belief. [continued…]
