I would pay okay money to see you actually run that experiment.

Goddammit. I could afford these Legos, but not the room to house them in.

Clicked through to say this same thing. Excellent movie. Very on topic. Don't read any spoilers before watching.

Do Tableau and Power BI count as "low code/no code"? They've been useful. Our non-programmer business users have been able to do useful EDA and reporting with them, and I'd even occasionally use Tableau myself.

Dammit Tim. This sounds fascinating, but after the last couple years, we all know the NY Times is bad now, so no I'm not going to "subscribe to enjoy unlimited access".
Can you maybe hit up the Mapbox folks to do a FLOSS version of this map?

I'm either not sophisticated enough to get the joke, or not sophisticated enough to use this gear, and I'm not sure which scares me more.

Neither were some of the big news channels, it seems. I was watching this on NBC 4, and about 2/3 through (when he started giving shout-outs to trans people and Muslims, probably just coincidence), they abruptly cut away and switched to showing a tour of their empty office space.

I am favor of this both as a tactical benefit to my preferred candidates, and as a matter of principle and aesthetics.
More candidates that look like, and give speeches like cut scenes featuring, video game bad guys, please.

I've spent years building up this muscle memory, and now... ugh.
Waiting for the Chrome App Store extension whose whole point is to disappear this new menu item.
Modern software. What a time.

Long story short: Onion & garlic, dried red lentils, chicken broth, herbs & spices. 1. Soften the aromatics. 2. Add lentils & broth, cook 30-45 minutes. 3. Mush it a bit and add parsley. Enjoy.

My other big move is "homemade chicken stock, and then make stuff with that".
Real chicken stock is so good. "Put some veggies in that and boil until soft", and that's a decent meal.
Making the stock takes a good afternoon. But you get a gallon or two from it, and the downstream cooking is easy.

My go-to is Indian-spiced stewed lentils, that my friend Erin taught me. Cheap, good, healthy, low labor.
Sounds similar to your go-to bean stew. But the lentils turn in to a pleasant mush that's kinda like a cream soup. Serve w/ crusty bread, maybe sour cream.
