I’ve spent the last month interviewing people expelled to Costa Rica under the “invasion” proclamation.
The treatment they were accorded at the border by CBP is some of the worst I have heard in 6.5 years of interviewing asylum seekers.

Authoritarians want you to despair, they want you to give up Trump is powerful, but only because a lot of people gave him that power. Giving up in advance is one of the worst things you can do.
This kind of thing does point out a real ethical dilemma: block or mute?
