The bastardization of Hugo Chavez’s reliance on Venezuelan oil and the initial help it provided to Venezuela overlooked the People’s will with Maduro dictatorship. He needed to be stopped and Venezuela helped, and I hope it takes forces other than the U.S. (Spain, France) to keep Trump in check.

I’m so sick of hearing about him on the news. Couldn’t the press focus on how to better the problems of country rather than keep feeding his ego with publicity of his controversy?
All they’re doing is adding fuel to the fire. They have to make money but they can do better for the U.S.

We must be prepared for the next admin to take power and hold them accountable. We need to work within the system at hand, as it is dismantled. As the U.S.’s intellectual left, we must dismantle the oligarchy in a step-by-step fashion, without rest. We owe it to those still suffering at their hands.
