Good thread, Glen - water temps are what matter. And whilst water temp may be less sensitive to short-term ambient temperatures, the seasonal shifts can be impactful.

Regarding the backstop mechanism, does anyone know *how* the curtailment occurs? Is it constrained to zero (i.e. self-consumption of PV still permitted), or is it constrained to gross zero (i.e. switched off)? illustration below from Project Symphony. Help @glenne.bsky.social et al.
