Keep in mind that most of the world's population didn't live through the last period of fascist dominance, most have little to no knowledge of it, and their primary sources of information are dedicated to misinforming them about it. That we are here 80 years later is hardly a coincidence of timing.

Regarding the backstop mechanism, does anyone know *how* the curtailment occurs? Is it constrained to zero (i.e. self-consumption of PV still permitted), or is it constrained to gross zero (i.e. switched off)? illustration below from Project Symphony. Help @glenne.bsky.social et al.
