Look. I'm not mad you bought a Kimmel picture book.

But marginalized creators are getting banned and death threats and harassed all the time.

It'd be neat to show them that wallet solidarity.

You ever try a particular flavor, really like it, but then *everything else* with that same flavor sucks? Me with rose lemonade. Every other rose thing is too floral.

Sometimes I think about the man who told me "some women's voices" gave him migraines. Just say you're a misogynist, buddy.

Sapphic September but make it horror -- cannibalism and vultures and Luna moths (oh my). To Be Devoured is still going pretty strong and I am always amazed by that 😆

To Be Devoured
Sara Tantlinger's To Be Devoured capitalizes on our macabre preoccupation with the uglier side of nature, with love that topples into obsession, and with madness that is strangely beautiful in its bar...

There was a fully able-bodied older man who came to the library yesterday. He tried to use the button to open the door. It didn't work so he knocked. Then he went to try the button again, instead of just *pulling open the door*. Too stupid to live

this post has the occasional qrp/reply to the effect of “it never works out for me”

my friends, please open your hearts to the idea that it *could*. that is the point! the past does not always dictate the future and there is always reason to believe that that thing could go your way.
