Saw abstract for research article -- it suggested affective engagement w/ historical content increased using particular games vs a text but knowledge test scores better w/ text.

Our Dig the Castle project open day featured rain, hail, winds and smiling faces!

Pottery is popping out! The larger brown sherd is Medieval while the jazzy black and white fragment came from a Victorian layer (but we haven’t dated it formally!)

I run @skypeascientist.bsky.social which matches scientists w/classrooms, libraries, etc for Q&As.

We match First Lego League teams too. This tends to wipe out one category of scientist bc so many teams sign up for the same category (this year, archaeologists). We're almost out of archaeologists.
