To add to this, as writers/directors I believe we have an obligation to not only be inclusive, but to also specify when a role is specifically for a POC.

I personally do not audition for poc roles because I don't want to take space from poc actors and it's not my lived experience so it would feel weird and inauthentic.

Please support poc creators and VAs!

VO beef of the day: It is so yucky to listen to white actors try to portray PoC characters. I think Casting Call Club is revolutionary in that it allows voice actors to see what other ppl are doing/submitting so we can learn/grow. But nearly every single PoC accent done by white actors is offensive.
