THIS STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN ‼️

The Trump administration will be vetting their own cabinet and giving themselves security clearances.

This is kind of like how police do it: “We investigated ourselves and found out we did nothing wrong.”

“Trump frequently told Kelly to ask the FBI to open investigations into critics. Kelly did not relay the requests. ‘The lesson the former president learned from his first term is don’t put guys like me in those jobs. The lesson he learned was to find sycophants.’”

Trump and Musk have already stated that their plan is to crash the economy. Picking a trade war with China, Mexico, and Canada will do that. They have no plan to restore the economy. This is how they plan to cull part of the population and pummel the rest into subservience.

The Tariff Act of 1930 was designed for protectionist trade. It imposed high tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods which led to retaliatory tariffs from other countries.

Why am I telling you this?

In case you're ever asked "what were the key contributors to the Great Depression?"

Republicans gerrymandered 3 times as many congressional districts as Democrats did.

Senate Republicans blocked bills to end gerrymandering that House Dems had passed in 2019 & 2021.

And Republican-appointed Supreme Court justices in 2019 barred federal courts from overturning partisan gerrymanders

phew it's a good thing our constitution is extraordinarily difficult to amend and wannabe autocrats can't do something like get their co-partisans on the constitutional court to recognize an atextual immunity from criminal law.

Disbarred, disruptive, and disgraced, Giuliani sat in a Manhattan courtroom and ranted about his impoverished existence now that he’s been forced to surrender his assets to the Georgia election workers he defamed — …
