The thing is we've known that housing the homeless is cheaper than neglect, we've known that Ubi is effective at eliminating poverty, we've known that heavily subsidized housing and education leads people into the middle class, we've known all of these things in some cases for 70 years.

C'è anche l'incoerenenza di una propaganda che continua a descrivere gli attacanti allo stremo invece che propagandare i benefici, veri o presunti, dell'economia di guerra. Come si può stimolare trasporto popolare se uno dei probabili risultati sono morte, miseria e crisi?
Un altro aspetto emblematico dei discorsi sulla remilitarizzazione e sull'aumento delle spese militari indiscriminate è che sono spinti da tutti gli ambienti tradizionalmente più ostili alla spesa pubblica e allo stato.

Oggi invece viviamo in un paese che secondo me non è di destra, ma è populista, in cui c’è una disaffezione verso la complessità. C’è proprio un rifiuto della complessità a livello generale, non solo in politica. Ma è sbagliato, perché la vita è la cosa più complessa che esiste.

Oggi invece viviamo in un paese che secondo me non è di destra, ma è populista, in cui c’è una disaffezione verso la complessità. C’è proprio un rifiuto della complessità a livello generale, non solo in politica. Ma è sbagliato, perché la vita è la cosa più complessa che esiste.
