Privacy is security, if anyone actually gave a damn about protecting kids on the internet, they would be prohibiting data collection and sale, not accelerating it.

Chat control, KOSA, all these measures introduce risk, give the government more surveillance power, and exacerbate child exploitation.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

I know the political fight right now is very, very important, we need to keep healthcare affordable.

However, I’m also increasingly concerned by the genuine existential threats being developed by AI companies and their complete lack of control over their inventions.

The lack of guardrails and complete inability to prevent AI from being used for malicious purposes, alongside the fact that generative AI is currently best used for fraud & piracy, is incredibly bad.

We stopped & put monumental safeguards in place over industries with much less risk.

Friendly reminder that anyone who was born and lived anywhere people drove cars prior to 1993 has lead poisoning.

100% guaranteed, they didn’t ban leaded gasoline until ‘92.

Lead poisoning causes harm to logical decision making and mental acuity, and correlates with crime statistics.

Age verification laws have been proven to only make it easier for criminals to choose specific targets, every region these bills pass in sees explosive growth in identity fraud, theft, and kidnappings.

The best way to protect the children is to force anonymity instead.

Remove the targets.

AI development towards AGI or super intelligence must be halted, study after study has proven that AI companies have no ability to actually restrict the behavior of their models, have no real ability to prevent their use to inflict massive cyberattacks or damage, & have no plan to prevent extinction

I despise how hard YouTube actively fucks over its users and creators at every turn.

Be sure to check your devices (Yes, plural DEVICE(S), because they’ve made it per device not just account), and make sure this setting is OFF!

It’s potentially hiding thousands of videos from you.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

Parts of the Constitution were erased from the Library of Congress website, including the section featuring the foreign emoluments clause.

The removal was blamed on a "coding error."

Here's a reminder of what the clause says, just in case Congress ever decides to enforce it...

If passed, it would require Full. Age. Verification.

Like KOSA, call all your reps & tell them what a horrible idea this is.

Spread this pls.
