Die Deutschen Meteorologischen und Physikalischen Gesellschaften warnen: "Bereits bis 2050
besteht das Risiko einer Erwärmung um 3 Grad."
Manche Medien machen daraus: Klimaforscher widersprechen sich. Aber schon der IPCC-Bericht warnte bei mittleren Emissionen vor bis zu 3 Grad, bei hohen bis 3,4.

Wir rasen gerade auf etwas zu, dass die jetzigen Herausforderungen geradezu lächerlich erscheinen lassen.

Wahlkampf in Sachsen - Christian Pudack, der einzige Kandidat für die Oberbürgermeisterwahl in Freiberg, der sich klar von Rechtsextremen abgrenzt, erhält öffentliche Morddrohungen.
Ich wundere mich sehr über die mediale Stille dazu. 1/2

Ich habe die Titanic-Ausstellung in Hamburg besucht. Diesen Text, der auf einer Infotafel stand, lese ich auch als Metapher für unsere heutige Zeit.
Als sich die Nachricht über das Schiff verbreitete, dass es Probleme gab, wiesen die meisten Passagiere, die hoch über der Wasserlinie untergebracht waren, die Gefahr von sich; schließlich befanden sie sich auf einem unsinkbaren Schiff. Die Passagiere der Dritten Klasse, in deren Kabinen Wasser eindrang, waren sich der Gefahr jedoch deutlich bewusst. Sie waren jedoch so tief im Schiff untergebracht, dass es für sie schwierig war, die oberen Decks zu erreichen.

Nachrichten, die häufiger verbreitet werden sollten: Die AfD hat heute zwei Wahlen um Rathäuser im Osten verloren. In #Wolmirstedt (Sachsen-Anhalt) und #Meißen (Sachsen) setzten sich jeweils andere Kandidaten im 1. Wahlgang durch. Die AfD ist schlagbar. Der Nimbus der Unbesiegbarkeit ist Taktik.

Quantum Computing ist ein Feld, in dem leider maßlos übertrieben wird. Die Forschung ist spannend und höchst nützlich, aber bitte nehmt reißerische Artikel dazu nicht ernst. Quantencomputer werden kommen, aber sie werden unsere Welt nicht retten und auch nicht zusammenbrechen lassen.
