I’ve made my checklist of horror franchises/movies I’ll be watching throughout October. Some might be in theaters, most’ll be streaming or rentals. And stuff will probably get added in as the month progresses (sometimes an interesting new release on Shudder/AMC+ or Hulu or whatever will drop).

This weekend I watched all ten movies in the Bloodfist franchise. All eight of Don “The Dragon” Wilson’s movies, the spinoff Angelfist and the attempted reboot Bloodfist 2050.

Wouldn’t recommend them!

This movie is incredible. It’s a little like Home Alone if Michael Jai White was Macaulay Culkin, and the Wet Bandits were Billy Zane, Roald from Letterkenny, and a bunch of fuck-ups. Absolutely incredible.

I’m doing an all-day marathon of Scott Adkins movies and I’ve reached Max Cloud, which is like the recent Jumanjis with more 80’s aesthetics. Everyone’s going at these roles HARD. Amazing movie.

I have now watched all four movies in the Best of the Best series and they are incredible. I think the Fast & Furious movies owe a LOT to this franchise. Because they get progressively more bonkers as the series goes along.
