Yeah pretty much. I don’t hate the show or anything, I just don’t care much for its delivery method. I’d also argue Lucas covers alot more ground fairly efficiently across the 6 movies he made (+Clone Wars).

TADC is very competently done and very entertaining but is also very simplistic. Despite its inspo none of the characters have any friction besides Jax with the rest of em, and 90% of the emotional moments consist of the same camera shots of two characters doing therapy speak.

I’m not gonna act like I don’t think the show isn’t funny lol. There’s tons of bits from the first season that have engraved themselves into my brain. But it gets old after a while.
