Captured Rocco in 3D using an iPhone. Aligned on device in 5 seconds and processed through Brush - the most accessible way to create 3D splats!

Alignment can use some work, but Brush did a great job on the fur.

Great work @arthurperpixel.bsky.social !

They did somehow make it as a power toys utility learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window... so maybe it is somehow considered something too complicated for mere mortals? No clue it’s maddening
PowerToys File Locksmith utility for Windows
A Windows shell extension for checking which files are in use and by which processes.

Reminder that if corporations are people, the reverse can also be true. You can just pretend to be a corporation, and do practical jokes like donate to #blender fund or something.

It feels like video games have become actively LESS like Third Spaces in the past 20 years, and more like eternal fucking shopping malls, JUST as physical space has.

This is monstrous, and it's such a waste.

The Himalayan Glade at Wakehurst Gardens, Sussex.

Captured with the Qoocam 3 Ultra and trained in Brush by @arthurperpixel.bsky.social.

The new MCMC method added to Brush is amazing for large scale scenes!

A thread of thoughts on radiance fields, from my keynote at 3DV:

Radiance fields have had 3 distinct generations. First was NeRF: just posenc and a tiny MLP. This was slow to train but worked really well, and it was unusually compressed --- The NeRF was smaller than the images.

We often use discretization to approximate continuous laws of physics, but it also goes the other way:

You can use continuous equations to approximate the behavior of discrete systems!

Here we'll see how electrical circuits can be modeled using the Laplace equation Δφ=0. [1/n]
