Tonight at D&D we did a session zero for a Weird West mini campaign. We have players definitely leaning into the weird, with a mutant Firbolg, a Jackalope, and a Plasmoid in the party. Should be fun!

My rogue was knocked unconscious last during our D&D "one shot" and I rolled a Nat 1 on my first death save, so that was exciting. The cleric stabilized me with Spare the Dying though, so I got better

Tonight we're doing a one shot for game night. Level 1 PCs who pilot level 4 mechs. Should be interesting, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned we're trying to fit a square peg (game involving mechs) into a round hole (D&D 5e)

When I first arrived at the Thanksgiving gathering my nephews were playing Mario Cart on the Switch. We just changed over to watch a football game. I'm in the minority but I preferred the video games
