Just a little arts collective supporting funky projects & literacy. We like to "salvage" bits and pieces of old art projects from years ago and reimagine them with digital tools we did not have at the time. Music, Photography & Applied AI Research.
Thanks to everyone who visited us this month! Virtually at least! 😀Let's keep connecting! #Community #happy #online

We had a great harvest this year with our Land Lab. Except for the useless #pumpkin plants. 😅 They flowered all summer, but never grew. So no carving them this year. Instead, we offer you these #AI generated ones as our contribution to a happy #Halloween! 😅 Maybe next year we'll have some big ones.

Ever wonder why summer air quality alerts hit cities even when the wildfires are far away? It’s scenes like this—dead wood from clear-cutting, a perfect fuel for intense fires. Smoke filled with harmful PM2.5 particles travels far and wide creating regional health crises. #AirQuality #WildfireSmoke

The air is dry here in Northwestern Ontario, and scenes like this—clear-cut fields of splintered wood—are a stark reminder of the fire risk we face. This isn't just forest debris; it's a massive tinderbox waiting for a spark. #ForestFires

Mechanical skeleton. The springs from the seat of an old, rusted Chevy pickup truck we saw in a clear-cut forest. #Rust in Peace. #oldcars #photography #chevrolet

It's that time of year for Goldenrod. Beautiful bright yellow just lights up the fields. It's a beautiful bright colour. #Flowers #FloralFriday #FridayFlowers #FlowersOnFriday #Bloomscrolling #Photography

The old truck is rusted, falling apart and picked clean of anything of any practical use. yet the chrome Chevrolet tag on this grill still shines like it's brand new. It's been out here, exposed to the weather for about 75 years. #cars #photography #art #wildnerness

Sometimes we wonder. How did it get here? Long ago folks used to live in little shacks out on the land by the railway. Sometime after 1950, this old truck was left to rust. I wonder what kinds of stories it could tell? #chevy #art #photography

An old 1948 Chevrolet truck that has been rusting for probably close to 75 years. Long hidden away in the forests, it now stands out as a landmark after the area was clear-cut by the lumber industry. #nature #photography #trucks #art #photographersofbluesky

It was a big hive. We can see the empty hexagonal cells. The larvae are the wriggling brownish coloured ones. The white ones are a silky cover where the pupae are transforming into adult Yellowjacket wasps. #nature #photography #photographersofbluesky #insects #Canada

A huge wasp nest broke and part of it fell on the ground. So we went to take a closer look at what the inside of a Yellowjacket nest looks like! #nature #photography #art #insects
