Yes! Also note that the Maine Senate race uses ranked choice voting so Collins can lose with a plurality.

It’s worth noting that the Maine Senate race used ranked choice voting. If Collins got a plurality and was a few points under 50%, she definitely could lose.

As a political scientist who’s lived in Maine since 1997, gotta say Collins keeps beating the GOP baseline. Hard to know if that will happen this year.
