Farewell to the actor John Woodbine who died today. He was ubiquitous in the film and TV of my childhood appearing in everything from Z Cars, Dr Who and the films The Devils and An American Werewolf in London.

D*mn, I missed the memo that female creatives have to be pure-as-the-driven-snow. Guess I'll go download some AI novels and lock myself in a convent.

Last week, I had to a visit a medical specialist whose office happened to be in the Vascular and Heart Hospital at U.F. I stopped by the coffee shop in the lobby and saw that they served fresh half-and-half. For some reason, I found this hilarious.

Robert Redford was a lot of things. A talented actor. An Oscar-winning director. An environmentalist. A philanthropist. A supporter of the arts. A real social justice warrior. A genuinely good dude.

You could rest now, Mr. Redford. You led a good life & remembered for the good you did in this world

Alt: A memorable and memeable shot from Jeremiah Johnson (Warner Bros, 1972) where the titular character (Robert Redford), a man with red hair and a beard, is sitting in the woods and nods in approval.
