Toonami should not be an “exclusively anime” block, and Adult Swim should not be an “exclusively American comedies” block.

Something weird like HEN SEMI or ASTRO FIGHTER SUNRED could be entertaining, and hell, MXC would be perfect for the Adult Swim windows.

Toonami could easily go more domestic.

So, since I've been following this obviously bootleg pirate channel out of Las Vegas, they aired What's New Scooby-Doo, The Looney Tunes Show, a couple of episodes The Simpsons, and currently (at the time I'm posting this) the Astro Boy movie.

I have no words.

This is a mad, ballsy channel.

Looking at this webpage again, there are a lot of incomplete sections on the show listings... which doesn't include any of this.

Still, someone needs to keep a record on what they're doing here. History needs to note this for prosperity and see how long this experiment lasts.

Yeah... not sharing the link, but in Las Vegas, there is this low-powered OTA station just straight-up flaunting copyright laws now that would fit in the bottom tier of this iceberg.

Part of me is like, "Y'all shouldn't be doing this."

Another part is like, "This is awesome! Fight the power!"

I don't think AmusingLuis is on this platform, but I have to say I enjoyed his three-part series about the defunct TV channels iceberg. The last part goes deeper than a lot of folks (and even himself) ever imagined he would.

Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.
