It’s wild that in My Cousin Vinnie you never once see the real perpetrator of the murder Ralph Macchio is accused of.

You don’t see a photo or a cutaway or a mugshot or anything. He’s faceless to us. And the audience never needs it to feel satisfied.

One thing that drives me bonkers is all the people who attempt film analysis of "you all say you want original films and here's an original film you all didn't go see."

That's not enough. It also has to be an original film that inspires people to leave their homes and open their wallets.
