For Brooke that entirely depends on whether it's 2003, 2006 or 2023.
2003 - At her peak, masks the ADHD really well, uses it to advantage as a Navl Intelligence Officer.
2006 - IED that puzzle good. The pieces are all there, but they don't look like the picture on the box.
2023 - good meds & therapy
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters

How does your character respond to praise or compliments?

Do they enjoy it and seek it out? Find it a bit awkward or uncomfortable? Flee from it whenever possible?

Does it depend on who is doing the praising?

I received the very sad, but not unexpected news today that a true American Hero, and family friend, has passed away. Ike Schab, one of the last survivors of the attack at Pearl Harbor, passed away last night at around 12:30.
ABC News reports on it here.

Yes, this is accurate. For many years, the entire goal of transitioning was to be able to completely disappear as who we were and "Like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind."
But that part has not been possible for a few decades, and now, not at all.
The reason they're so focused on trans teens is that people who transition younger typically blend into society better. To the extent that they're willing to tolerate our existence in society at all, they'd rather we be easily identified by our appearance/voices/etc.
Cis people really have no idea how it feels to watch a regime hold a press conference to admit, on camera, the pogrom against trans people they've been waging for 11 months is not only real, but they're going to double down on genocide and try to wipe out all the children first.

Hail and Farewell, Mr. Slippery. Hope to catch you next time around. Say hey to Gwen when you find her.
To any in the SF Bay Area who may have known him, I have the greatest sorrow to share the news of the passing of Owen Rowley, esteemed Elder and Curmudgeon of the NECTW, last HP of Lady Gwen Thompson, and legendary figure all around. I have known him since 1974 & shall miss his presence in my life.

Can’t wait to see what they’ll do when Loving comes back up. Will Thomas recuse himself, or will he vote to overturn it as well? Might be his only way to get a divorce… 🙄

Is it too much to want for a meal that acutally tastes good and is appealing, instead of just blah, like everything else does these days?

Letting go those things can be difficult, if only because we've become so used to carrying them, that we are sometimes (often) afraid to let go of them.
I carried grudges, guilt, and people who weighed me down. Then life taught me: when your hands are full, blessings can’t land. I let go, not to quit, but to choose peace, love, and me. 🌿✨
