some people just wake up in the morning and think to themselves "time to log on to the bullet journaling subreddit and post about why rapid logging, migrating tasks, and creating collections as they arise don't work and ask how I can bullet journal without all that"

If it's any consolation, most people who wrote with fountain pens, or other nib pens, through history had mid-to-terrible handwriting (as I do). The best advice I ever received was "just slow down, form the letters carefully according to your own writing style and don't worry about it."

I see people post that they prefer the writing process to the editing process. I'm the other way around. that first editing round is where the heart of the story comes out. it's my h like how OP explains it below.
