The problem is that adverbs are like Christmas decorations: there’s a TIME and a PLACE and an Aristotelean proportion where on side it feels right and on the other is it now a THING.

My poor MIL, wondering if it’s okay to get my kids books with a potty training/sharing toys “agenda”, is not ready for an impromptu essay on whether literature necessitates a POV to qualify as such.
Plus, I’m not ready to argue “trying to prove you don’t need a POV is itself a POV” with modernists.
