Apparently during the @thepwhl.com broadcast today, they announced that the Friday @newyorksirens.com home game would feature a costume contest and a Broadway ticket scavenger hunt. This was not mentioned to ANY of us at the arena today and is findable nowhere online. What...what the actual eff.

When I was 18 I worked at Old Navy and took my job in the men's khaki section VERY SERIOUSLY. When tasked with giving out tshirt club cards, I made sure EVERY customer was offered one.
Including the woman in sunglasses trying to be invisible while her BF bought khakis, aka Neve Campbell.

One thing that keeps me safe from/while engaging with RPG discourse is the fact that I actually play RPGs. Regularly, passionately, with people from all walks of life. I love my hobby, I engage with it deeply, I am comfortable and secure in it, and no one can take that away from me!

Stayed behind for thanksgiving because I picked up some virus at the con. Specifically had not restocked the kitchen cuz we were gonna be away for four days. Can't/won't order anything fun to eat today.
Glad I get to keep the cat company, and rest, but wish I at least had a pot pie in the freezer 😞

This is the drum I'll never stop beating, and I don't know why no one else is talking about it.
A parable:
Google and Sonos were in court for YEARS over whether my smart speakers were allowed to do the basic thing I bought them to do.
That resolved, for my purposes at least, but now...

To the extent that AI actually *could* make things faster, smoother, more practical and less confusing...it won't. Because that would require multiple proprietary softwares integrating seamlessly, and their owners don't want that. End of story.
