This is a very good paper on the myth.

P-hacking, failure to replicate and fraud are real problems but don't remotely represent science collapsing in on itself. The existential threat to science comes from conservatives, full stop.

Time for our scientific society leadership to take the case to the people by getting on national news and putting op eds in national publications, rather than just sending letters to members of congress who feel no pressure by that whatsoever

Anyway, I'm really proud of this work. Over the past couple weeks, I've created something like 1.8M images before paneling them together as shown here. Now all 308,000+ galaxies are available to classify on galaxyzoo.org. I hope you'll check it out. ☺️

We also then give them the option to flip over to seeing the individual bands. This is because individual bands may be sensitive to structure that gets lost when we combine them all.
