Republican House passed the SAVE Act. “Up to 69 million American women who’ve taken their spouse's name can’t use their birth certificates to verify the name they use today. The law will require a passport that matches the person’s new/married name.” Awaiting Senate vote.

All of these new rulings don’t just affect today, they rewrite precedent. Trump still has three years left, and whatever expanded powers the Court hands him now will automatically pass to the next president as well.
