All you need to know is that he definitely should be in math class and not at some horrible pageant to support his poor little friend who absolutely doesn’t wanna be there. (Don’t worry, I’m sure he’s gotta getaway plan for them both up his sleeve.)

A feminine person (My OC Caro/Carrie pre transition) sits alone in a foldable chair. There's a banner behind her that says something we can't read. She's wearing a frilly denim romper with a pink bow in her high blond pony tail. Shes leaning her chin on her hand and musttering 'bored bored bored bored bored.' in the second panel, shes perked up and looked past the viewer. Someone offscreen is saying 'whats going on?' and someonle else is replying 'some hoodlum boy in the lobby insisting he should be here.' in the final panel we see Carrie having got up and looking stressed. in the foreground a boy in a leather jacket with spiked shoulders is giving someone the viewer can't see a huge shit eating grin. The person we can't see is saying 'young man, don't make me call security.' (as if that would work.)

in the time it took you to click on the new slide, Carrie has jumped into the spiked jacket boys arms (Sully!) with her arms around his neck and feet kicking up with a big smile. shes saying 'You came!' as though she was hoping he would. He's hugging her back, chains and patches and spikes and studs covering his jacket and black jeans with a chain wallet and UFO keychain. His blind eye is facing the viewer but we can still tell he's extremely happy, and he has lipstick kisses all over his face. he's saying 'well duh! 'course i did.'

in the first panel Carrie is looking up at Sully (way up, she's very short) and holding his arm. Shes saying 'Omg, you must have had to get up at like 4am to make it here! You even dressed up nice for me!' hes smiling and holding her chin and saying '3:45. I ain't gonna wear crust pants to your fancy pageant thingy angel.' indicating they are at a beauty pageant and he's come to support her. in the final fram she hugs him and says 'oh Sully, today's not gonna suck so much now, I'm so glad you're here!' indicating she hates these things. He hugs her back and says 'ha, you know I'll always be there no matter what, babes.' (famous last words....)

The story I’m currently working on, Creaky, tells the story of Sully’s homeless years where he struggles to find a place for himself in the world, and he utilizes the public library for so many things, even just a safe space to feel a little less alone and invisible. He’s going to make it out alive not matter what.
