oh I take absolutely forever to finish games (if I finish them at all), this is definitely the kind you can just get lost in (positive connotation). I'm trying to keep the story chugging along for the most part but the downtime is genuinely some of the best stuff!

I knew people loved this game but I had only made it to the start of Chapter 3 before, and didn't quite know how the narrative was gonna shake out. I think I'm finally seeing the pieces come together and it's pretty clever and well done. it's finally making me reflect on broader questions; love that

but for now, Arthur doesn't have a totally solid reason to distrust him, so trust him he does. the tension is apparent, but for now, things remain relatively calm. there are a lot of really interesting conflicts and questions rising to the surface now in Chapter 4 and I'm really excited to continue!

and I may have seen some vague spoilers here and there about things that happen later, but even without hearing those things, Dutch's characterization is great. it's clear that he's a slimy dude who probably doesn't deserve all the trust people have in him, just based on how he acts and speaks.
