saw an article scroll by to the effect of "is blue prince in trouble since it won't win a game award due to not having non-english locs" and decided it would be interesting to see if winning a TGA last year affected anyone's sales at all

summary:
* Senua's saga saw a microscopic bump
* Black Myth Wukong had no noticable effect compared to a content patch the next week

They're rarely used on lines that have a lot of 90deg turns yeah. I was actually looking this up the other night cuz we were on one and was surprised to find out the engine at the back "pushes" the whole rest of the bus forward. Ours have electrical lines most everywhere but still kinda crazy.

there are sooo many of the new model Ys here and i feel like the only reason is because they're still seen as "luxury" cars within aggressively normie/rich people. idk if Hyundai or Kia (in the west) can escape the reputation of making budget cars for 30 years

An absolute lock for my top 5 movies this year. 3670 is a film about a gay North Korean defector trying to make connections in a community still legally unrecognized and pushed into the shadows. I loved every second of it.

Overflowing with love for a community still forced into silence and obscurity. Cheol-jun's struggle to re-learn not one but two social codes as he adjusts to life as a gay North Korean defector is a perspective that seems too perfect for a really melodramatic beaten-down story, but 3670 is not that. I'm so glad I got to watch something that mirrors so many elements of the queer experience without needing to remind me that life as a queer person is unforgiving and cruel.
