The problem with Amber is the costs are high when you really need power. You can't put off using the electric oven on a winter evening and the tariff can be scary. Probably works out even over the year, but when you see the tariff warnings, it gets uncomfortable pretty quick

When I think of the ideas, projects and people that the ABC has passed over in favour of this, I feel ill.

(ILL?!! *cue an ex-Gruen panellist cracking a joke about eating mushrooms, accompanied by canned laughter*)

It's fucked. I admit that I find factual reporting interesting, but these events have severe impacts on many people, nevermind the actual victims/families, and now we need ABC comedy???

That’s why I’ve teamed up with Monique Ryan MP and introduced a bill for strong, clear rules and real-time disclosure of lobbying activity.

We can restore trust in government - but only if we’re willing to act.

Have fun, Tim and Son.
Take a flask of something. Sandwiches and a hot drink were always fantastic on a winter road trip. Probably still are.... 🙂

Basically, all essential services, such as childcare, should be publicly owned, serviced and regulated. Preferably, by independent agencies who report to govt but are not beholden to the govt of the day. NDIS is not the model.
Extending public schools - baby to teen - would be a great model.
