She has been calling me this for a few hours now. Other mommy: “other mommy” is the name goose uses to differentiate me from my wife (“mommy”). The names are largely interchangeable but I get “other mommy” a little more often and now I’m fond of it. Note: no relation to Coraline/evolved independently Donkey: Goose has been repeating the word “donkey” because it’s fun to say. ie: donkey donkey donkey donkey. Elsa: She is wearing her Elsa dress (again) and pretending to be Elsa. Here she is talking about herself in the third person. The “Elsa dress” (pictured, a dress with a face on the chest) is a blue dress with frills. It does not look like the dress Elsa wears in Frozen, but it does have her face on the front. She has been dancing to “let it go” or a half hour. (Pictured, Lucy dancing in the dress. She says, “Elsa’s making her frozen castle!”) Likes macaroni: macaroni, here, is strawberries. She selected 4 strawberries from the container in the fridge and asked me to cut them up for her. I put them on a plate and cut them into sixths (the way she likes). (Includes an illustration of the process) when I handed her the plate of sliced strawberries, she said “these are macaroni.” “Ok,” I said. Macaroni: no precedent. She had macaroni a few times last week? We ate at restaurants more than usual while at the shore and it was all she wanted from any given menu. Kiko: we went to the shore last week and the town we stayed in had the type of crossing signals that beep and talk. She was fascinated by these and “kiko” is how she imitated the beeping sound the signal made while waiting for it to give us a walk signal. one of my many horrible little punishments i would inflict upon mine enemies were i god. it is good that i am not because my sense of proportionality for "people being unpleasant for no reason" is way off. like how i think if you're parked in a bus lane the bus should get to monster truck ur shit.
