loved this story. and as someone who stutters, the acknowledgement that this isn't something to "overcome" but rather to "live with" is great. Also really appreciated the detail that when Holloman sings he doesn't stutter. This is a real thing, happens to me too!

They tried to filibuster him, forced Republicans to jump through hoops and used up all 30 hours of allowed debate time, with an all-nighter on the Senate floor, and all 47 Dems voted NO each time. That’s about all they can do procedurally.
