Gamer, axe-thrower, bear.
Remember when even the most lukewarm of criticisms of post-unalived Charlie Kirk was something that merited ruining the lives of anyone who made them?

Seems relevant today.

Roy Cohn is on the AIDS quilt; his epitaph is "Bully. Coward. Victim."

In a just world, that's how Charlie Kirk's gravestone would read, as well.

I know Charlie Kirk valued debate and free speech because he blocked me for fact-checking his lies on Twitter and then put me on his organization's Professor Watchlist for writing a book he didn't like.

Also, Newsom's at least mildly transphobic.

But, you know, he mocks Trump, so I guess we can forget that stuff.
If you are okay with this, if you think this is justified, if you think people living on the street have brought this upon themselves, if you think this is good leadership, you may be able to fool yourself that you care about others but you don’t fool me

Oblivion Remastered: I could probably spend 10 hours modding the base game to get it to look this good, but...yeah, no. This is fine.

The Pete Hegseth axe-throwing fail is hilarious, but seriously, why was there no backstop, and why were people doing stuff *directly behind the axe-throwing target*, well within "could get hit by a poor amateur's throw" range?

That one's...not entirely his fault. But heh, yeah, shit throw.

Max Payne 2 is still a fantastic video game just because of how fun it is to take advantage of the "this is 2003 and we're just figuring it out" ragdoll physics.

Sending mooks flying across rooms because every bullet adds momentum to their corpse is every bit as amusing as it was 22 years ago.

You really don't appreciate how big red-tailed hawks are until one stares you down in the No Frills parking lot like you're going to try and fight it over the pigeon carcass it's eyeing.

Today I learned there's a Good Times animated sort-of sequel on Netflix. It's produced by Seth MacFarlane and one of the main characters is a drug-dealing baby.

...I know there's nothing new under the son and shitty cash-in remakes are nothing new, but...like, goddamn, dude.

Crusader Kings 3 is definitely going on the list of "games where I have no clue what I'm doing but it's fun to fail miserably as I figure it out".

Couple hours in and I already gave up on an adventurer because I didn't understand how the game's religion mechanics work. It begins.
