and then, eventually--a Constitutional amendment to limit terms to 18 years.

When I first started teaching, the NRA was all about coming to rural schools and teaching gun safety. Wish they had stuck to that.

I lay out what I'm going to wear the night before. I'm retired, and to help me remember the day of the week, each day is assigned a different color. I've found doing this helps keep my sanity (plus I can get dressed fast when I'm still groggy).

What mental/emotional reason are we having so many of these violent incidents? Is it economic stressors, mental illness, or lack of empathy that causes people to lash out?

I see it from a different angle--people discount your brains and integrity. I'm reasonably intelligent, and have been told again and again to "act dumb" so men feel better. I was discounted because I'm not pretty.

US Marshals. The Marshal Service is run by the Judicial Branch, not the Executive. They are not part of the DOJ. If a court orders an individual in contempt, the Marshals can arrest them.

And, no doubt, 45 is being paid to protect them from what is in the files. Remember, the Felon was heard calling these pesos the "victims". More likely there are his marks.

Unless they are all stupid, 45 and his minions have to realize that by this non-release he appears much more guilty of more heinous things than if they'd released it all months ago.

I live in a rural area where folks use guns to hunt for food or to shoot feral hogs or rabid wild animals. They have gun safes and realize that the threat comes from fools who have guns without training.
