The @californiapuc.bsky.social will SOON decide whether to force CA families to pay for higher utility profits. In March, Asm. Petrie-Norris led a 🔥letter signed by 38 lawmakers🔥 urging CPUC to reject this request. Thank you, lawmakers, for fighting for us. #CALeg

The CPUC Must Protect Ratepayers, Not Shareholders

California families are paying record-high energy bills while monopoly utilities rake in record profits — and now they want even bigger guaranteed returns, straight from your monthly bill. 1/2

Join us at the Rally for Clean Air on June 6 in Diamond Bar, CA.

SoCal suffers some of the worst air quality in the US, and a major contributor is gas appliances used for space and water heating in our homes. Luckily, upcoming healthy air standards can change that.

Every OC resident should be proud and grateful to Assembly Utilities and Energy Committee Chair Cottie Petrie-Norris for this letter she and others signed and sent to the CPUC this week, urging regulators to “push back firmly” on utility profits at ratepayer expense. 1/3

Irvine will talk about its lackluster & years-delayed climate plan tonight. They’re also planning to leave OC’s only clean energy agency. 🙄 Sigh.

This slide shows some of the problems with that.
1. SCE’s basic product is much dirtier than OCPA’s
2. SCE’s “green rate” product is. Not. Available.

The next Ladera Ranch Civic Council meeting is focused on the school board! Lisa Zollinger and Judy Bullockus (CUSD school board trustees) will be given most of the meeting time. If you are a concerned member in our community, this would be a good place for you to voice your concerns.

This school board member is VERY comfortable using the n- word. She also doesn’t believe humans have anything to do with climate change. She must resign.
This is Judy Bullockus, hard-right member of the Capo Unified School Board in Orange County, California. During a meeting last night, she dropped the n-word. I am calling for her to resign. Please share. These people hate the exposure of sunlight. #resist #truth
