Fit for what purpose, though? There's a difference between energy and peak capacity and these have different carrots and sticks. Running a kiln at peak creates bad outcomes for the system

I think there's a few issues here. It's kW, not kWh, measuring your highest usage across a half hour period in that month. The goal is for you not to run your dryer plus your aircon while you're cooking dinner. Mine was $15 last month
