I just wanted to put my trade deadline thoughts out here before things get wonky.

In Mike Elias' tenure he has had 6 major league drafts. The average number of times gms across the league draft their first pitcher in the first 3 rounds is 4.3. Elias has done it twice and one of them didn't sign.

If this is true then honestly wtf are we complaining about? The years? The aav is good enough that if he wanted to come he would've. I've always said the guy to be mad we didn't get was Fried bc it sounds like we could've afforded him.

The really dirty secret in games is that games by and large were not making their money back even at the $70 point. I remember when it got leaked how much Rift Apart made and it's budget and it wasn't even close.

Its so funny to me that Corbin Burnes saw the torpedo bats and immediately decided to pitch them low and away and they cannot hit those pitches for love nor money.
