Ask, listen, and be there to help.

No one ever asks Black men if we are okay.

It hurts.

Speaking of nuking a site from orbit, I built this today:

The USS Sulaco, from the #movie #Aliens. OK not the actual ship, this one is made from #Lego and only about 40cm/16" long.

Original design by Brad Barber, bought via rebrickable.com.

Original set was the 75375 Millennium Falcon.

Was fun to build and see it come together!

A Lego model of the ship "Sulaco" from the movie "Aliens". It is displayed on a stand, and is about 40cm or 16 inches long. In the background are 2 Lego "Speed Champion" cars, the lower half of a Dell monitor, and an "Alice" style ergonomic mechanical keyboard. The Lego model of the "Sulaco" ship from the movie "Aliens". It is positioned in much the same way as when you first see it in the movie, although this ship is not even pretending to be in space!

Every kind word, every message, every “thank you” – we’ve seen them all 💜

Your reactions to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on GOG remind us once again why games matter so much; they’re made of passion, emotion, and community, far beyond what’s on the screen. Thank you.

Yeah I wear a 3M N95, that's a good point thank you 😎

Yesterday, I got to publish, on my website, an updated version of my Melbourne train and Tram map showing services from early December – including MetroTunnel.

I got to publish that map from the VANA exercise book. And it’s real.

It's true, we ruin everything.

Imagine how life in the world would be different if Doggerland still connected Britain to the European mainland? Would Ireland have become the world's empire builder?

At the start of the year, I declared London the undisputed global capital for women’s sport in 2025.

I’m proud that our city has so emphatically delivered, with more than a million fans in London coming to watch the best in the world compete.

The first rule of stripe club...

(no mockery intended at your misspelling, I just enjoy silly wordplay)

I mean, internally, not ahem "externally".

Swish, gurgle, whoosh, plip plip plip.

That means it's time to offer them an early morning walk and get them outside quickly when they ask. Although Henry hasn't had an accident inside for over a year, I like to minimize his discomfort.

That realization that hits you when your dog is snoozing warmly by your side on the bed, and you hear his guts sing you the song of their people.

It would be nice to see what could be accomplished by a Pacifica unburdened by colonialism. i.e. able to create a constitution informed by the lessons of the past couple of centuries.

I think the funniest thing about Orson Welles not giving a single flying fuck about voicing Unicron, is that his absolute apathy about the material unironically adds to Unicron’s character because yeah why would Unicron care, he’s a big planet eating planet doing his thing

Yeah, several repub people I know have responded with "things are going great!" with the sense of a fixed smile and sweat on their forehead. When confronted with news about gov crimes, they say "either side makes up wild stuff and exaggerates events".

It's infuriating.

The Rule of Law is Dead. Seems it’s taking Americans a hot minute to actually accept this.

A new White House memo says that furloughed federal workers aren't entitled to back pay.

This is clearly against the law, which guarantees furloughed federal employees back pay for the duration of a government shutdown.
