Apologies for an uneducated layman's view: The parasite can only drain the host so much. Capitalism has taken too much. Efficiency, cultural value, ecology, power, wealth. It's all becoming destroyed or concentrated in a few who think their parasitism will go on forever in ever-greater amounts.

It really feels like a punishment. "Oh you have issues remembering to do things? Anxiety over phone calls? WELL BUCK UP BUCKAROO!!!"

Ugh, I'm so sorry. It's definitely worse in the UK than the USA. The NHS is so inefficient but so valuable and appreciated too.
