finished abaranger today, what a season! felt it dip a little bit around the middle point, but that's probably because my favourite part of the show is asuka and mahoro. cinematography and designs are really nice (as usual with 2000s tokusatsu, to be honest...) and ryoga is still best dad

one of the weirdest sentai episodes i've seen and not in a good way, sumino being missing from literally the entire episode then just showing up during the fight scene, as well as the really sloppy editing and lack of a nep, leaves a really sour taste in my mouth for being the final sentai series

i was pretty excited to see where maya imamori's career would go post-sentai because she's been great here and one of my favourite characters in the show, it's a shame what happened

Don't fully believe everything you hear... This is misleading.
We've known for a while about the #SuperSentai Series ending with Gozyuger, which is true, but that's because they're re-branding with a new franchise name.
This news is correct, but as a technicality due to the re-branding.

the fact that you can't play cross-region matches at all in 2xko (even private matches) is a real sign of the future of that game, which is a darn shame! i guarantee in a few years you probably won't be able to find more than a few players in some regions

people always be like "oh i like kanto but gen 1 is so olddd and jankyyy i could never play them nowadays i'll just play FRLG"
the core problem is approaching gen 1 like an established pokemon game rather than as the weird old game boy RPG it is. throw water gun on that rattata you caught it's okay
