Yeah, I stand in awe of the creativity it took to think that one up!

I didn’t think she had one. A heart, that is.
December 10, 2025 at 4:24 AM
Did you see where DHS posted this ugly meme, speaking of ho-ho-ho? Disgusting.
December 9, 2025 at 5:06 PM
It’s fun to watch, though…
December 9, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Oh my gosh, your poor dad. I hope he gets better, soon. Glad you are recovering/recovered-maybe.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m involved with Hispanic and Latino groups, and right this moment on Texas Latino groups, people are decrying the fact that she entered the race. Ask yourself, why, if she cared so much about this run, didn’t she start campaigning months ago, when others did?
December 9, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Yeah, like James Talarico. National popularity doesn’t equal Texas success.
December 9, 2025 at 1:59 PM
I live here, I work my butt off for Democrats here, my work puts me in touch with voters all over the state. Talarico has been walking the walk, on the ground, in Texas, and people across this state, outside of her district, do not even know who she is. National popularity doesn’t translate here.
December 9, 2025 at 1:59 PM
No thank you. I’m voting for the candidate most likely to win against Ken Paxton.
December 9, 2025 at 1:55 PM
But you don’t live here. Like the other folks commenting from out of state, you don’t understand what’s happening here & don’t realize she very likely can’t win statewide next November. Other candidates have been campaigning for months, she just decided yesterday? Ha. Not very motivated. Not at all.
December 9, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Please understand, if she really gave a damn about winning this seat, she wouldn’t have waited until the last minute of filing to declare. Other candidates have been out on the road for months. If she wins the primary, she’ll lose, probably to Paxton, who is a crook. Period. Save your money.
December 9, 2025 at 1:49 PM
Agree 100%. Crockett is popular on the national stage, but Texas is huge, 254 counties, and diverse. I work around the state, I know for a fact that outside large cities like Houston and Dallas, people don’t even know her. If she wanted this seat, she should have started campaigning months ago.
December 9, 2025 at 1:44 PM
She had options. Some of this gerrymandering can turn into dummymandering, making it easier for Dems to win. Other members of Congress are running for redistricted seats and she could have done it too. If this was really about beating Cornyn, she would have started campaigning months ago.
December 9, 2025 at 1:40 PM
Sorry, you haven’t listened to him! In addition to being female, I’m a Jew. Talarico is a Presbyterian. He’s certainly no evangelical nutcase, instead he’s a no-nonsense communicator who exposes GOP hypocrisy. There’s no one on the scene who is better at doing so.
December 9, 2025 at 1:36 PM
Did you hear him on Joe Rogan’s podcast? Have you heard him at all? He fights for truth and he opens eyes, wherever he goes. Most importantly, he can bring in independents in Texas. She cannot. She should have jumped in the race long ago, not the last day of filing.
December 9, 2025 at 1:31 PM
I could not possibly love this more.
December 9, 2025 at 3:54 AM
Trump is much more hideous. He’s starting to look like old luggage, just like RFKJr.
December 8, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Oh, I agree, regardless of where this is—trendy RV for young explorers or NY. It’s dangerous. But people need to start saying no thanks. Regardless of where they are.
December 5, 2025 at 9:53 PM
I agree the price is disgusting, but many of the most popular small RV’s have this as a feature. It’s called a “wet bath.” Should be called a wet toilet.
December 5, 2025 at 9:36 PM
We’ll have big news for you this evening. P.S. Don’t worry, I’m not pregnant. 🤣
December 5, 2025 at 9:02 PM
We arrive late in LC on Wednesday, leave super-early on Monday, hope to do Salud de M. with you for our usual celebration, but—will you be available Friday or Saturday? Earlyish, like 4. Urgent need to catch up, plus I like buying HIGHLY curated presents for folks with similar interests. It’s fun.
December 1, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Nope, sorry, never decent. Fired from the P.D. for destroying evidence, talked his way into office as a constable largely due to respect his constituency had for his service in Iraq, bs’d d his way into a sheriff’s position. Like a lot of other blustery Texas politicians, not even from Texas.

Did you ever see the house on Cityview that was decorated to the hilt? It was so amazing. I know the cars going back and forth on that little street drove people crazy. It was an older couple, sadly, they moved a couple of years ago and the new owners aren’t into decorating.

It’s tragic, exactly right. I’ve been carefully curating my gift shopping experiences—a feminist pop-up in San Antonio, an “artisanal” foodie favorite in Austin, a gift shop with handcrafted items in Rockport. It’s actually kind of fun finding these places, knowing you’re making a difference.
