He’s so pissed that he wasn’t awarded the Nobel Peace Prize that he’s willing to start a world war

People keep trying to talk about this thing in the context of Colin Powell, Iraq & Bush. It‘s going to be much worse. Expect American military bases popping up named after himself, with atrocities to follow. There will be no apologies or excuses. Just the exercise of raw power, and boasting about it

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Oil is a helluva drug. Addiction to it leads to crimes like invading and overthrowing countries to get to the supply.

Any politician not denouncing the takeover will have already given tacit approval for Shitler to take over any other country he wants by using the “bad guy” rationale, no matter how bogus. Expect more of this.

*Greenland shivers*

I, for one, completely support the president’s decision to be his own doctor. In fact, I encourage it. Or let RFK Jr. be his physician.

Apparently the “concept of a plan” for health insurance was to have Congress adjourn for vacation & leave my spouse with an unaffordable 200%+ premium increase, per her provider’s letter.

Life in America under Shitler and the Turd Reich. But at least we can say Merry Christmas again! 🤬

If bringing potentially lethal products like drugs to sell to Americans justifies a war, let me tell you about a product that by design kills (or wounds), was the instrument of death for 16,576 people in 2024, is sold everywhere in the US, and is easily obtainable

We are minutes away from “if the President orders it, the order can’t be illegal.” And he won’t even know he’s paraphrasing Nixon.

Congratulations to my niece on becoming Dr. Eriksson (while raising two children & learning Swedish to earn the degree at Uppsala University. Not bad for a country girl from Alabama)

Old Don said he would bring manufacturing back to the US.

Turns out that he only meant manufacturing crises.

Diane Keaton and I once walked past each other in Central Park. I gawked like an idiot, trying not to, but she smiled pleasantly at me. (At a Vegas casino, Ali McGraw and I walked past each other when I blundered onto a shoot. I gawked, and she smiled pleasantly at me as well.)

RIP Diane.

Was dining at nice Vietnamese restaurant today & suddenly noticed a swarm of cops in the food preparation area. Realized why the “sushi man was unavailable that day.“ Immigration police were rounding up workers in the country illegally. This was a first for me — and happened in Germany, not the US.

Heads up, Pennsylvania: Peters Township R’s aren’t fucking around. “Vote ‘No!’ To Retain Judges” signs are up EVERYWHERE, big & gaudy. Make sure everyone you talk to knows they really need to get out & vote to retain Dem PA Supreme Court justices (along w/Allegheny Cty Magisterial/Common Pleas ofc)

This,

Sinclair is worse than the Murdoch empire, Briebart, all of em.

Quietly distorting news and exerting editorial control over station managers for a loooong time while growing and growing.

Ban them. Do not visit their sites, nor watch their stations.
People mistakenly believe monopolies are invincible. But the same forces that make them appear invincible, are also their Achilles heel.

Bring down the #Sinclair censor machine!

Why is my bandcamp app on my iPad so small and can I use it to defeat fascism?

500 rounds fired into a federal facility with a cop killed. Did the “law and order president” say one effing word about that? Anything? Crickets.

People in DC should ask those federal agents walking around how it feels to be demoted to beat cop by a man with 34 felony convictions

How does the USA have the kind of governmental structure that allows a president to get his shit-stained hands on literally everything? Especially considering that the GOP, conservatives, the right wing have forever decried a Federal government. (Send link to your dissertation before it’s vanished)

Astounded that people in the news media call some dweeby little twerp who (purportedly) got his ass kicked “big balls” instead of using his actual name, as if his ridiculous self-nomination deserves anything but mockery. Same for the “one big beautiful bill.” Call it the billionaire bonanza bill.

I guess the Orange Reich figures to have good upcoming employment numbers to boast about with thousands of ice hires — perhaps some on Medicaid or high school work-study kids since pet dog killer Kristie removed age limits.
