Research group at Univeristy of Warwick, using ultrahigh resolution mass spectrometry. Interests in highly complex mixtures: energy, transport, the environment, archaeology, and others. Includes development of experimental and data processing approaches.
Big congratulations to Latifa Alostad who recently passed her viva and put in an excellent performance. A very well deserved #PhD on #FTICR #massspectrometry!

We’re witnessing big changes that we might not have expected even just a few months ago. Lots of momentum!
Scientists, academics, researchers: We’re excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! 🧪
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.

We strongly suggest that academic publishers and other platforms that host research rapidly implement a Share to Bluesky button for their articles. Here's how:

I was sad to read this. I remember talking to him at a conference for the first time, seeing how he interacted with others at all levels, and thinking he was great.

Deadline is Monday (22nd Jan) for these two #virology PDRA positions to be based in the lab studying coronavirus replication and virus-host interactions.

Deadline for funded PhD studentship 2 (RVFV interactome) is tomorrow (Sunday 21st Jan).
Funded PhD and PDRA positions still going in virology and mass spectrometry- variable application deadlines from 15-22nd Jan 2024. For full details see the lab website.
The lab is hiring PhD students and PDRAs for 2024 start! Projects going in proteomics/mass spectrometry and virology.
