Welcome good news! Union workers @AFLCIO forced a House vote soon on the Protect America’s Workforce Act to restore federal workers’ collective bargaining rights.

Discharge petitions don’t happen every day. Now we need to win the vote. Workers and union legislative staff made this happen. #1u

I'm not going to stop saying this. We need to stop calling it "deporting." It may not always be fair or humane, but deportation has a process. And it means you're sent back to where you came from. These people are being trafficked and sold to slave prisons. Not deported.

2. @alamodrafthouse.bsky.social should voluntarily recognize the union.
3. If the DC Alamo was union I would def choose it over other theaters around here.

VW should uphold its supposed policy of neutrality instead of circumventing the bargaining process. UAW’s historic contract win in TN was always going to kick off a tough contract fight but shitty to see VW undermining its workers’ voice and breaking the law.

Trump / Musk attacks on federal workers is clearly meant to hurt both workers of color and union members. The federal government has historically done better by both. This is the point of their plan.
