For those keeping track, the Campaign Company has now been involved in:
- Stop 3 Waters
- Rates Cap Campaign
- Anti Māori Wards Billboard campaigns

Clearly there’s some big money backers out there trying to manipulate local elections. Gotta ask yourself why that might be and who is sharing it!

I could go on. But essentially this set of figures shows the failure of the government's fiscal and economic strategy since the election. Debt is higher - for less. The deficit is worse. The number out of work is higher. GDP growth is much worse. It's hurting but not working.

Do I have rights to his house? Do Wellingtonians have the right to vote for the Timaru council? Society assign different rights to different people all the time!

Seymour is conflating universal human rights, which are universal, with all the other rights, which are not. That's it. That's his trick.
Seymour's narrative on his Bill is clever in that he gets to do the classic thing of pretending to be the reasonable one in order to effectively gaslight opponents. "Why don't you want equal rights" etc etc.
