Well for the final #AdventSingles day I've gone with something connected to the World Cup as Scotland will be there next year. Also, with two of my granddaughters staying with us over Christmas 'Nessun Dorma (None Shall Sleep) is quite appropriate. All the best to each and everyone.

Recently I have found this to be my go to Emmylou Harris album.

A reminder I'll be back and running with some more postcards in mid-January. Managed to get this lot for £3 recently.

For #AdventSingles Day 23 and I've gone for some great 80s guitar driven pop by Skin Games. They were blessed with a fantastic singer too in Wendy Page. Give it a listen if you can.

Didn't expect to like this one too much but it's a great version methinks. youtu.be/VnstFOTGJgc?...

#AdventSingles Day 22. Another one I bought in Missing Records the other day. Roger Daltrey singing a great Pete Townshend song 'After the Fire'.

#AdventSingles Day 21. This one I never heard until Guardians of the Galaxy 2. A number one in the US and Canada but did diddly squat over here. I give you Looking Glass with Brandy (You're A Fine Girl).

#AdventSingles Day 20. Gimme some of those loud Phil Collins drums upfront with this one.

Headed up to Greenock on Monday to Reverence Music and bought this lot. #weekendsingles

Been waiting on this one to arrive all day. Bought it off eBay for £1.16 at the start of the week. The cover has some sticker residue but the vinyl is excellent. #AdventSingles Day 19.

Not much bought cd wise this week as I bought mostly vinyl singles. #cdfriday

#5albums25 I've only bought ten so far. I'll maybe get back to you on it, in June when I'll have a few more. Mind you, Molly Tuttle is ahead of the pack at the moment. #cdfriday

Day 18 of #AdventSingles and I'm going to claim a Christmas connection with Wishbone Ash. 'Blowin' Free was always the Wishbone Ash song to hear in the 70s. There are others though. Bought today BTW.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Joe Ely yesterday. I'll be blasting out some of his stuff today.
Rest in Peace Joe.

I always liked ye olde EMI label cover. Love the simplicity of it. Great song too. #AdventSingles Day 16.

How about a slice of Pye for Day 15 of #AdventSingles?
December 15, 2025 at 3:08 PM
#AdventSingles Day 14 and it's a great song sung by Cher. It's co-written and produced by Desmond Child, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.

It's an Advert single for Day 13 of #AdventSingles but what was the product?
