Nobody believes him on this but I do! I think the money was the same everywhere and he wanted the easiest path. But he pathologically can’t take responsibility for his actions, it’s sincerely fascinating how he is always someone that something happens to, rather than an agent of action.

Genuinely beside myself at the people agreeing here. The rules can’t change mid-season just because you don’t like the outcome! You can change them in January!
This might be an unpopular take ... but if I'm the ACC and Cal upsets SMU, I override the tiebreakers and put Miami in the ACC championship game against Virginia.
