This is a good point. Shorter games mean your best players play more of the game. And good players, that could start on other teams, don't paly much

This is a great justification for NBA expansion
If they do this they need to expand the league. There are too many good rotation players that wouldn't get minutes. The Cavs are playing 12 deep in games this season. They have guys coming off the bench that could easily start on other teams. If you go to 10 mins, you risk parity unless you expand.
